Remember the Irish Flash mob that descended on a library to challenge perceptions about public space? Well, the students of James Madison University decided to have an impromptu rave at their library to blow off some steam during finals. Hundreds of students descended on the scene. The Breeze, JMU’s paper, reports, “At exactly 10 p.m., the party hit its stride. A voice came over the sound system; a DJ easily whipped the crowd into a frenzy. Crowd surfing, paper throwing and stage diving from the second floor became common as techno and other hit songs blasted through the lobby.” Check it out!
